Zonder Family Law was founded in 2003 as a niche family law boutique by Lisa R. Zonder, an 18-year attorney veteran and Certified Family Law Specialist since 1999. Zonder Family Law offers numerous options in handling your legal situation: traditional (court) divorce, mediated divorce, collaborative divorce, as well as pre-and post-nuptial agreements and private dispute resolution. The firm handles legal matters in divorce, child support, paternity, child custody, spousal support, and property division.

In addition, we work together with reputable forensic accountants to help value pension, deferred compensation, 401K and other assets for the divorce case. Similarly, if your case involves the division of the parties' business interests, we will work with a business appraiser.

Lisa R. Zonder, Esq., Lead Counsel

Lisa R. Zonder has been practicing law since 1991 and founded Zonder Family Law in 2003. Throughout her career, Lisa has handled the divorces of celebrity clients, biotech and high-tech industry professionals, teachers, doctors, business owners, a judge, high-profile musicians, Wall Street bankers, social workers, and stay-at-home mothers and fathers.

A native of New York, Lisa received departmental awards in Political Science, her chosen major in college. After completing only three years of college, Lisa was accepted on an early admission basis ("Accelerated Entry Program") to law school before the age of 19. She completed her Juris Doctor in 1990 and went on to work for a 25-attorney family law firm in Los Angeles.

Lisa has been certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Family Law since 1999. She is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (prior); the San Diego County Bar Association Certified Family Law Specialists; and the Bar Association of North San Diego County. Being informed and sharing legal insight with the community is important to Lisa. She has lectured on the topic of divorce, and served as served as a guest instructor at the University of San Diego ("USD") for their paralegal Legal Research class and Chair of the Family Law Committee of the Bar Association of North San Diego County. She is also an author of legal articles published nationwide.

Lisa knows that "life goes on after divorce," having personally endured the process. Lisa and her husband are happily married with three children. The Zonders are active in community events and are an athletic family.

Krystal Limon, Esq.

Krystal Limon is a long time resident of San Diego County, Krystal M. Limon completed her undergraduate education at UCSD. She continued on to California Western School of Law. Krystal has practiced in the area of family law since 2006. Her vast experience includes handling a multitude of court hearings and settlements involving issues such as child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, division of property, domestic violence, paternity and DCSS enforcement. She handles litigated (court matters) and out of court disputes including mediation. Krystal Limon is currently working toward fulfilling the requirements to become a Certified Family Law Specialist.

Lisa M. Beal, Business Manager / Paralegal

Lisa M. Beal is a long time resident of San Diego County.  She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management and is currently seeking her Masters Degree in Business Management.  She is a Certified Paralegal with a Specialized Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She has worked consistently in the area of family law for over 13 years.  Her career experience ranges from being a Paralegal, with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, assisting in running the Domestic Violence Clinic at the Vista Superior Courthouse, to being the right hand of a long time Family Law Specialist until her retirement. She eventually came to Zonder Family Law as the Firm's Business Manager and Paralegal.
